One of the most expensive purchases I've ever made

I've been suffering from work related back pain for a year or two. Nothing major as of right now. I purchased an $800 mattress new a couple years ago and initially was satisfied, but it isn't doing enough for me anymore. I wake up pissed off because my sleep quality was shit and my lower back was aching before I even got out of bed.
So after several months of my lower back pain getting worse and worse despite attempts at regular stretching and proper form at work and home, I decided to go all-out and get an extremely nice mattress and base. I went with the Queen Tempurpedic AdaptPro Medium all foam and the Tempur Ergo 3.0 base. Tried many different mattresses yesterday at Mattress Firm, and felt a ton of relief on this specific mattress. What I'm more excited for is the base though! The lumbar support and adjustability is god-tier.
The only thread I'm hanging on is the price! In total it came to 4.5k. I've never made a large purchase like this before aside from my vehicle which was only 7k. I'm really hoping I don't regret it. Tonight will be my first night on it, I'll update if anyone cares. Just wanted to share this with someone. Take care. 🤙
Edit: So my sleep quality was simply amazing. I felt zero aches or pains when waking up. I was dealing with a sore spot in my mouth that flared up and got really bad over night. Impacted wisdom tooth. Currently in the waiting room for surgery. But hey at least i know my bed is the bee's tits.
This combo is peak sleep for me, and I haven't ever felt so justified of the price tag in my whole life. Worth it. 100%
