I've been convinced for some time now that the legs on this Formula 1 driver were originally designed for Shanks. It's possible that, since they are dual-molded with nice printed sandals, they may have made the set more expensive to produce and keep at the $29.99 price point.

I have been watching this set at my local wal-mart. It was on clearance for $80, then $60, and now $40. I figured it was finally time to test my theory. Are these not the perfect legs for him???

I started collecting these about 5 years ago. I am in the US, and the paperback editions received updated cover art a few years back, and I really wanted all of my editions to match, so it took a long time to track down the correct missing volumes.

The last 2 that I needed were volumes 6 and 7, but they were nearly impossible to find for a decent price. I set an alert on eBay for any new listings with matching isbn numbers, and I waited. Several months ago, someone in the UK listed a lot consisting of volumes 6-9 for a decent price, but the shipping would have been exorbitant, so I reached out to a friend of mine who was living in Poland, and he agreed to allow me to ship them to him since that was much cheaper. He came back here recently to visit family, and he brought them to me! My collection is finally complete!

My sister's car has been giving her trouble, so my dad has been working to fix it, and she has been staying with my wife and I so we can bring her to her work in the meantime.

She went to spend the day with a friend, and when he brought her back, we got to talking about videogames, and he pulled these out of the trunk of his car and told me that he had just gotten these from a family friend who was throwing out a lot of old items. He said he was going to donate them and to take what I wanted. I honestly thought that E.V.O. was a repro until I opened it. I couldn't believe it!!!

I tried to offer him some money for them, but he refused and said he was just happy to see them go to a good home instead of the garbage.
