On December 26, 2025, we stepped through Colonel Francis Beatty Park in Matthews, NC and picked up litter as we went. The park covers more than 260 acres and includes a large lake, wooded trails, and open green space. It is part of Mecklenburg County’s park system and provides paths for walking and access to natural areas around the water.

On November 24, 2025, we stepped around Rose Lake in Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, OH and picked up litter as we went. Rose Lake is a small scenic lake within the park, surrounded by wooded trails and natural areas. Hocking Hills State Park is known for its forested landscape, rock formations, and hiking paths that attract visitors throughout the year.
