Aussie wanting to temporarily live in the USA
I am a 20F Aussie girl hoping to relocate to the USA on a temporary basis. I’m an Aussie and Canadian PR. I’m currently in my last year of university studying my bachelors of Nursing. I’ve received conditional acceptance to masters of midwifery program which starts next year so realistically would relocate to the USA in 2028!
I’ve been to the US numerous times (go roughly 2 times a year) as I have family and friends there. My family there are aunties, uncles, cousins etc.
Straya will always be my home but ever since starting nursing school I’ve been in awe of Americas healthcare system. So many innovations and research occur in the US and I think it would be so interesting to work at a big hospital in the US where I would get exposure to cases and conditions, I would not see in Australia!
I have a pretty good understanding of how to obtain licensure as a nurse in Texas, and understand my midwifery qualification won’t be recognised in the USA!
I’m hearing about the E3 visa which is appealing!
I am looking at coming to Texas!!
Any advice on how realistic this idea is would be greatly considered.
