I’m building a zero-commission alternative to eBay for Pokémon cards because I hate fees. It’s in beta, I have no clue what I’m doing, and I need you to roast my UI/UX. Please be brutally honest.

Hey everyone,

I’m a long-time Pokémon collector and I’m completely fed up with eBay taking a 13.25%+ chunk out of my sales, and TCGplayer’s complicated fee tiers. I wanted a marketplace where sellers just pay for "shelf space" (listing slots) and keep 100% of their actual sale price.

So, I decided to code it myself. It’s called Cardarro (www.cardarro.com).

Right now, it is in a tiny, bare-bones beta. I only have 8 brave sellers and about 90 listings total. The truth is, I’m an engineer/collector, not a marketer or a professional UI designer. I honestly feel like I have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to the layout, the flow, and making it feel like a "safe" place to trade.

I am not here to sell you anything. I am here because I need you to absolutely roast my website.

Please look at it from a buyer or seller perspective and tell me:

  • What looks incredibly ugly or broken?
  • Is the "subscription/slot" model confusing when you read the homepage?
  • What is missing that would make you actually trust a new, indie site like this?
  • If you tried to create an account or look at a listing, where did it get annoying?

I’m just one guy trying to build an alternative to the giant corporate monopolies. Don't hold back—tell me what needs to change so I can make this actually useful for the community.

Thank you!
