As the saying goes, you live and ya learn. 2014 Ford Flex 3.5 v6 naturally aspirated with 173k miles is due for another water pump :)

We replaced it about 5 years ago at around 120k miles. Of course it was with all aftermarket parts. It seems they have failed. Coolant leaking with a steady stream from the weep hole. $400 in parts later and this weekend is my showtime! Wish me luck. 😐 Going to clean the engine bay tonight and Friday after work ITS ON. Any tips and tricks would be appreciated!

TLDR; After market water pump BAD IDEA and failed early, having to redo the job again but with OEM parts and prayers. Any suggestions for this to go smoother I’d like to hear.
