I’m stationed at Pearl Harbor. I bought a car from a guy who never registered it. I never got the title from him and he ghosted me. I was actively trying to get rid of it, but I got a ticket on base for lack of registration. I won’t be able to fix the registration without a title, and the dmv told me I’m screwed. How can I legally get rid of the car? I have no paperwork whatsoever.
