Great Bracelet…Then a Surprise Break. Shoutout to David Yurman for Making It Right

Just a day or two after posting my new favorite bracelet stack, I ran into an unexpected issue with my Streamline Cross Station Bracelet (black leather with sterling silver and black onyx, 3mm). The leather strap separated from the silver bracket that holds it in place while putting it on. Definitely disappointing, especially since I had just started really enjoying the piece.

Took it back to David Yurman and Matthew immediately stepped in to help. No hassle, no questioning, no back-and-forth. He checked inventory, found another one in stock, and replaced it on the spot.

As frustrating as it was to have a bracelet fail that quickly, great customer service makes a huge difference. Wanted to give credit where it’s due and thank Matthew and the DY team for handling it professionally and making the experience right.

Has anyone had this happen to them with the same or similar bracelet?

Black Onyx & Sterling Silver Stack for the Day

Been leaning toward darker, more understated pieces lately, so this stack felt right today.

Layered these three together:

• Open Station Box Chain Bracelet — Sterling Silver, 3mm
• Spiritual Beads Bracelet — Silver with Black Onyx, 8mm
• Streamline Cross Station Bracelet — Black leather with Sterling Silver and Black Onyx, 3mm

I like how the mix of polished silver, matte leather, and black onyx gives it contrast without feeling overdone. Clean, masculine, and easy to wear daily. The Spiritual Beads bracelet definitely anchors the stack while the other two keep it balanced and minimal.

Haven’t been in the mood to wear my DY pieces lately for a mix of reasons—but today felt like the right moment. Brought out the red tiger’s eye and paired it with jade, gold, and onyx. Sometimes it’s not about the occasion, just the feeling.
