I’m asking on behalf of a friend who is travelling to Daman with family for 3 days. It’s their first time visiting, so looking for some recommendations from people who have been there recently.

Month of travel: May be in mid Sept.

Could you please suggest:

• 🏖️ Best places to visit in Daman and nearby
• ⏰ Opening/closing timings and how much time to spend at each place
• 🌅 Best spots for sunset/sunrise or evening time
• 🛕 Any temples, forts, churches, museums, etc. worth visiting
• 🍴 Good family-friendly restaurants — preferably veg options as well
• ☕ Any good cafés or places for snacks
• 🚗 Whether they should hire a cab/auto or rent a vehicle for local sightseeing
• 📍 A suggested 3-day itinerary would be really helpful
• 💰 Any idea about approximate costs for sightseeing, food and local transport?
• ⚠️ Anything they should avoid or be careful about, especially during the current season?

They’ll be travelling with family, so they’re mainly looking for a relaxed, clean and family-friendly trip rather than nightlife/party places.
