Erasmus Student 2026-2027 Brno

I’m going to do my Erasmus exchange at Brno University of Technology next semester, but I’ve just been informed that the university dorms are already full and I’ve been placed on a waiting list.
So I’m now looking for alternative accommodation in Brno and would really appreciate any advice or recommendations.
If anyone could help with:
reliable websites or platforms to find housing;
Facebook groups or student communities in Brno;
or any personal experience/tips about finding accommodation as an international student,
I would be very grateful 🙏
Also, does anyone know if there is usually still a realistic chance of getting a place in the dorms from the waiting list?
