Im currently in my 3rd year of H1B. My company started the i140 process, but layoffs hit and everything got put on a hold for 6 months.
Is this a normal bump in the road or should I be panicking?

Im currently on H1B 3rd year, and in the process to file 1-140. My application is in PWD (Prevailing Wage Determination) stage of the PERM process.
At the same time, I have a promotion coming up from PM1 to PM2.
My question is: could this promotion affect my I-140 application?
Additional question: If yes, which one should I give up?
