Agression after spay abort
So around June/July of last year I picked my dog back up from my mom watching her where the week before I got her back she ended up docking with a full blood cane corso, she’s a full blood olde English bulldogge for back story. I picked her up from Missouri and brought her to Washington where I was stationed at the time and was told the mo vets said it is what it is and we need to handle it with her being pregnant while in Washington they advised it would be better to get her spay aborted. I opted for her best judgement and health to get the spay abort. Well after that she was fine with my fathers beagle and mini golden doodle at the time yet I’ve since brought her back to mo where she lived with other dogs for a year and a half that she had no problem with before yet now wants to fight with mainly the females. There’s one 9 month male corso that she gets along with for the most part but he’s also super submissive and has hip issues so he won’t fight(she starts it with everyone she fights with). It’s to the point I don’t bring her around any of the other dogs in case she does get in a fight with them as I don’t want that for the other dogs yet she absolutely loves people. For the last year I looked at getting another dog for a friend for her since I feel bad she’s alone yet I feel like she’s made herself into an only dog recently. She’s a super good dog and will listen to me as much as her bull-headedness will allow her to. I guess I’m just wondering if she will ever outgrow her aggressiveness or if she’s gonna be an only dog as long as I will have her or what else will help us with this long term. (We’ve only just moved back to mo and been around these bigger dogs the last month)
