What is the purpose of this tab on Haas CNC
Hey guys. During a long job today, I was exploring some of the other functions on my Haas VF-2YT and came across this tab.
From what I understand, I can enter something like 45° in the K value and then jog the machine at a 45° angle instead of parallel to the X axis. But what’s the actual purpose of this feature, and in what situations is it useful?
Could it maybe be handy for checking whether a G68 rotation is set correctly, or is it mainly intended for something else?
