Public Affairs Major

Hey everyone,
I’m looking into the Public Affairs major at UCLA and wanted to get some direct insight from current students or alumni in the program.
If you're in the major, I'd love to hear your thoughts on a few things:
Overall Experience: What are the classes, workload, and professors like? Is the major as interdisciplinary/practical as it seems?
Pre-Law Fit: For anyone on a pre-law track, how well do you feel this major prepares you for law school compared to something like Political Science or Philosophy?
Career Flexibility: What are the career prospects like outside of the standard government/nonprofit route? How does the major hold up if you want to pivot into the private or corporate sector?
The Capstone: What does the senior capstone project actually look like in practice, and what kind of internships do students typically get for it?
Appreciate any insights or advice you can share!
