50 hours in, (a little bit) decent at shooting, lost on everything else. How did YOU actually improve?
Hey,
I've been playing for around 50 hours. Here's where I'm honestly at:
- I can shoot pretty consistently from the ground
- I've started getting into basic aerials (boost, jump, redirect) and I'm slowly getting it
- But the moment the ball hits a wall or goes into a corner, I'm completely lost. I just freeze or go in randomly and miss everything
- My positioning and rotation are probably a mess, I don't really know what I should be doing when I'm NOT going for the ball
My main problem is not laziness, it's information overload. YouTube gives me either:
- Vague advice with no drills ("work on your positioning" okay but concretely HOW) and i just lost 10 min of my life watching the dude larping abt his « elite program »
- Or mechanics way too advanced for where I am right now, like the dude be doing air roll reset blablabla and i can’t do any of this shit.
What I'd love to find is one single structured resource, a playlist, a guide, anything, that goes step by step from real fundamentals to intermediate, in a logical order.
like a single structured playlist or guide that goes A to Z on the fundamentals, in the right order, with actual things to practice. Not 47 different videos from 12 different creators where I don’t know what to do first.
But more than that, I want to hear from you: how did YOU actually get better? Do you remember what clicked for you early on? Was there one resource you followed start to finish, or did you piece it together yourself?
Not looking for "just search YouTube there's tons of content" because that's exactly the problem. I need a starting point, not a sea of options.
Thanks
