Delayed gastric emptying

Hi all,
My dad, stave 4 Mets to peritoneum, has a pretty constant stomach ache with signs pointing to delayed gastric emptying. This started when he was released from the RMC trial last Oct and put back on chemo. He eats a good breakfast, lunch (even if it’s a shake) then wrecks his gut and then he doesn’t want dinner. He’s had a duodenal ulcer for at least 40 years. He is on Bentyl, mirtazepine, and dilaudid for pain but he has no relief. Does he need a stent at this point? Is there any other Rx that can help with the stomach pain?

Confused - CA19-9

My dad has been off chemo for over a month. Since dx in Jan 2024, prior treatments include surgery, mFolfirinox, RMC-6236, Gem/Abx, mFolirinox - all of which failed. His tumors grew. He had a CA 19-9 done around end of March/early April - it was 4900. End of April after stopping treatment, another test was run by a different hospital (MSK) and the level was 2900. Massive 2K drop. Not sure how to interpret this? I know the test is not a tumor marker, but this seems pretty remarkable?
