Would this work in Orange beach Alabama saltwater fishing

I’m going saltwater fishing soon and I need to know what else I should buy for my tacklebox and I have an OBN3 inch and a rep crushed city 3 inch and a deep water popper and some bait hooks and I need to know what else I need

Ik this rod and reel don’t and prob shouldn’t go tg but I was wondering if it could work in saltwater and if so how could I use it

My grandpa bought me this combo for saltwater fishing and I was wondering if it’s good and my friends told me to get this handle for it because they said I needed it
