Sorry, but this topic still haunts me.

Sorry, but this topic still haunts me.

One user wrote a post, and it made me want to share my reaction with a friend. The screenshot shows that post, my comment on it, and the message: "And I remind (you) about the chemistry between Gray and Scheherazade. Apparently, they decided to NTR Gray too, just to appease the incels."

I won’t attach screenshots of the other messages because there’s no point, so I’ll just rewrite their contents here, translated into English:

I: "And I’ll remind everyone about the chemistry between Gray and Scheherazade. Apparently, they decided to NTR Gray too, just to appease the incels."

F: "What was the principle behind choosing characters for special interactions earlier? Were they only characters without real/potential relationships, just for the MC’s amusement?"

I: "There are only two characters with potentail relationship: Scheherazade with Gray and Lathel with Justia."

I: "They could have at least TOLERATED A COUPLE OF CHARACTERS, but incels ALWAYS need ALL of them, no exceptions."

I: "Lathel >!sacrificed himself several times to save Justia and the world: he impaled himself on Nox (that scene where he asks, with a hole in his chest, whether he managed to protect everyone); he asked Blade to sever his emotions so they wouldn’t get in the way of cooperating with the Apostles to save the future; then his clone (who is literally the same Lathel, only more naive since he hadn’t seen life), into which those emotions were placed, sacrificed himself, allowing the original Lathel to absorb him and become whole again; and then he devoured the main antagonist, who caused all the chaos in the world, including forcing Justia to drink ogre blood, which made her massacre her own village and forced her mother to sacrifice everything.!<"

I: 'And in the end, Justia ended up with a faceless, amnesiac nobody who romances everyone in his restaurant, simply because he’s a self-insert MC and the circumstances were prearranged from zero chapter to make Justia love him."

So, I'd like to know what other players think about this retcon in the game, made solely to please incels, sacrificing the game's uniqueness (bringing it down to the same level as countless other gachas like Azur Lane) and stripping it of the potential to develop relationships between characters that made those characters feel alive and realistic.

I know I sound really harsh, but меня ЗАЕБАЛО (I don't know how this can be translated into English without losing the necessary emotional coloring, but if translated literally, it would be something like "I'm tired of being fucked" but Google translates it as "I'm sick/fed up of it.") with how all gacha games are devolving into the same thing because of incels.

What other games are there like Brown Dust 2...

...before the update the day before yesterday?

BD2 was once unique in its lack of a dummy protagonist, but for the sake of obvious players, the developers decided to ditch Latel and replace him with a faceless self-incert protagonist. Are there any gacha games anymore that aren't burdened by a dummy protagonist, but are filled with independent characters who can freely build relationships with each other, rather than around a blank character?

New update and new storyline...

https://preview.redd.it/mfjcx89l2vah1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b2499f33e38543181500c74fdf3abc290985a1f

I'm updating Brown Dust 2 and encountering the most unpleasant "surprise" I could have possibly expected from this game. The developers have seriously decided to make the player-chef the protagonist of this game's main plot. It makes me want to cry.

This game was unique in that, even as a gacha, it didn't make the player the story's protagonist, allowing for fully independent characters who don't focus entirely on the "player" and don't serve as tools for their ego-stroking. But now Brown Dust 2 has decided to become like countless other Hoyoverse-style gacha games and, of course, Wuthering Waves. Now the game will inevitably descend into a purely artificial harem, reeking of endless falsehood. Maybe someone was hoping for some kind of relationship between Gray and Scheherazade? They'll definitely be gone now, since Scheherazade can't fall in love with anyone other than the player.

So much anticipation for Chapter 21, and then this incredible slap in the face...
