I just died in a parasite biome and I don't know how to get my stuff back, can anyone help?

I was travelling for this one structure from the map coordinates, and then I came across this...

I hit the jackpot, as well as I managed to take a screenshot earlier of this village structure burning down in the Wastelands, the villagers really do need better village construction places...

Why on earth is this structure built in these infested buildings, it's like god wants these two to suffer.
