POTO for a non english speaker

Is the musical actually enjoyable for non english speakers? I'm planning to go to the 40th anniversary in Shanghai and my parents also wanna go to Shanghai too for vacation. They do actually understand english to a certain degree, but i doubt they will actually understand the story in POTO

The leroux novel just arrived

I'm new to the phandom and always wanted to read the novel by Leroux. I've always heard that the translation by David Coward is the best, but i couldn't find it in my country. I hope this version is really good in translating
