I built a free bus seating chart app — looking for 20 Android beta testers
Hey everyone 👋 I'm a school bus driver and I built a free seating chart app called The Bus Buddy. It's been live on the web for a while, and now I'm bringing it to Android.
What it does:
Interactive seat map for Type A, B, C, and D buses
Assign students by name, grade (K–12), and gender with color-coded seats
Manage up to 5 routes on the free plan
Export rosters as CSV/PDF, print seat labels for above each seat
Cloud sync — works across all your devices
Google Play requires 20 beta testers before I can launch publicly, so I'm looking for drivers or school staff who'd be willing to install it and try it out. It takes about 5 minutes to set up.
Your feedback literally shapes the app — every feature so far came from real problems I deal with on my own routes.
If you're interested, here's the beta sign-up page: https://thebusbuddy.com/beta.html
You just join a Google Group, accept the Play Store invite, and install. That's it!
Thanks in advance 🚌
