Darker lead for writing, not drawing?

I’ve seen some posts about dark graphite and other materials to use in mechanical pencils but they seem oriented toward using them for drawing. I like writing with mechanical pencils and would like to be able to use them for long journaling sessions sometimes but always feel like the graphite is unsatisfyingly pale. Would love to try if I can find something that is closer to the blackness of ink. Does anyone know what I should be looking for here?

▲ 10 r/pens

I have a pen problem.

I have been using the Pilot p-500 and p-700 pens for decades. All time favorite. Nothing else feels like them. I’ve tried others, and I keep coming back, even though there’s actually one big thing I hate about them. They’re not refillable. In terms of environmental friendliness, these suck. The ink lifetime is not great, and you have to throw away the WHOLE pen. Ugh. But there’s just something about them that I haven’t been able to find in any other pen. Does anyone have recommendations? Commiserations? Thoughts? Anything? I would love to find an alternative that is refillable.

Laptop power bank recommendations?

I need a power bank that has enough capacity to fully charge a laptop and can charge itself reasonably fast. My laptop can charge itself fully from 0 in about 90 minutes; why do power banks charge themselves so slow? Currently I have a 20000 mah power bank which only gives my laptop about 1/2 charge and takes FOUR hours to charge itself. It’s been really hard to find something that meets what I’m looking for. Is there anything out there that can fully charge a laptop and will charge itself in 2 hours or less?
