College applications
I was at the grocery store today and I heard two cashiers talking about how they have to pay $75 each for a state college application and then $50 for a community college application. I can’t believe this is still a thing. I graduated a 20 years ago and I had an application fee. My heart breaks for the young adults who are having to face ginormous inflation while still trying to get a solid education and will probably have to be saddle with astronomical tuition.
