Surveyor for ex pyrite house

Hi all, can anyone give any recommendations for a good surveyor who has experience with an ex pyrite house?

The place I’m looking at used to have pyrite but the vendors don’t have a green cert as the pyrite was remediated before the green cert was issued.

Although the remedial works say everything is ok, I’m hoping to find a good surveyor who has experience with pyrite just to be on the safe side.

It’s for a place in north Dublin suburbs

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! 🙏🙏

Former pyrite house

Hi All, I’m looking to buy a former pyrite house in Clongriffin and wanted to get peoples advice whether or not the house is pyrite free? The vendor advised the house is pyrite free and I can see they said the floor has been remediated of any pyrite.

however I noticed below it mentions that the ‘rising walls are built according to good building practice’ but it doesn’t mention anything about remediating the rising walls. Does this mean the pyrite has affected the walls but they haven’t done anything to remediate it?

Please see the engineers report below

Thanks everyone any help would be greatly appreciated it’s so hard to buy a house and ensure everything is ok 🙏

“1. Based on the results of the testing of the original stone infill the engineer specified the appropriate remedial works for the removal of the subfloor filling and concrete slab areas

  1. The replacement stone infill has been tested for use beneath the floors slab and the material has been certified to be non-susceptible to swelling and suitable for use as house infill

  2. The engineer carried out regular inspections during the medial works, including inspection of the rising walls and foundations

  3. Based on the above the engineers are satisfied that the remedial works have been properly carried out to our specification and accordance with good building practice recommended engineering standards and the building regulations relevant to the remedial works undertaken

  4. Based on the above engineers are also satisfied that the rising wall and foundations are built in accordance with good building practice, recommended engineering standards and the building regulations

  5. It is our opinion that the unit is structurally sound and fit for habitation”
