Hi - can you tell me if it's normal to hear pops - sorta like somebody raps a piece of wood with a knuckle or lightly with a hammer? Not really sure how to describe it. I have a cathedral ceiling in my bedroom. Roof was replaced in December in 40's-50's temps. Starting this past month (July) 80-90's we have heard random popping sounds. ALL of the ridge vents popped loose and warped. They came and nailed them back on (I think the nails were too short) but they don't look as good as they did, you can tell they are bent. I think we need completely new ones. ANYWAY - the popping is still happening - My husband is a light sleeper and it wakes him up at night. He now has to sleep on the couch for any decent sleep.
We were told this was changing weather. Is this going to be every time the weather changes, or is this likely just for the first change of season? And is this normal?

Received Notice to Waive Biometrics 11/29/25

Notice that new Greencard is being produced and to be mailed soon 7/19/26.

We were told last month to expect a full 11-12 months to receive notice, so this was a happy surprise!
