Change of planning permission without being notified
These new builds being built next to us were supposed to be apartments originally, they would have been side on to our garden with obscured glass, they are now normal houses with sunrooms looking directly into our garden from downstairs. For context, we didn't object to the apartments, all was approved, builder then came onsite, dumped a mound of earth obscuring views, then submitted new plans which we were conveniently not notified about so had no chance to object (the council have admitted to failing to send the neighbour notification letters, they missed sending it out to 17 houses), planning officer then came out, didn't go onsite as photos were taken from outside the security fence so couldn't see the lie of the land and how we may have been overlooked, planning then got approved. We only found out about the changes after they started to build it. Any idea what recourse we have now that it is well underway?
