NHL Media Predicts Canada’s 3 on 3 All Star Roster. Bouchard/others wrongly overlooked - again.

Evan Bouchard: Undeniable chemistry with McDavid. 2026 top scoring D w/ 95 points. Led all NHL D in OT w/ 3 OT goals/6 points. 4th in Norris voting (top 5 twice last 3 years). #1 NHL D scoring past 4 years incl playoffs. 2nd highest D PPG NHL playoff history.

Oilers-Kraken, Sat Oct 3 at Rogers. Who plays first shift against Lindgren?

In Worlds QF in May, Ryan Lindgren left his feet for an illegal head shot to Evan Bouchard. Knocked Bouchard, Canada’s best D by a mile, out of event, risked serious injury, likely cost Canada gold. IIHF game so NHL did nothing. Who plays first shift against Lindgren?

Tkachuk trade more about show than substance?Example: Oilers v Sens OT March 3, 2026

Is it possible the Panthers just made a bad deal? They now have two players on their second line in the bottom 51% of the league in skating speed, as is evident on video for Brady. The two winger Tkachuks average almost 9 million each in cap space. More than Reinhart, Veraeghe, Bennett. Barring trades, Panthers have just $7M left with no goalies signed (and others). Was this trade more about show than substance?

EVAN BOUCHARD’S LOILTY

Bouchard could have been lifting the Stanley Cup tonight. He stayed an Oiler despite a pending 12.5M offer sheet from Carolina. Had himself an historic season. Got shafted by Team Canada. Shafted on the Norris. But Oil Country thanks you. Next year, you, McDrai, and your Oilers gonna get the Cup.
We remember LOILTY.

After Hart’s performance, and Cane’s use of the tandem, can we now recognize that the Skinner/Pickard duo got the Oil to B2B finals?

Skinner: >50 games/season ‘23,’24’25.
4 Playoff SO, including 3 in 2025. 94.3% PK in 2024 playoffs.

Pickard: >20 games/season ‘24,‘25 Playoff record: 8W, 2L, incl 7 straight W’s in ‘25 in clutch moments. Ultimate glue player.

When will hockey start protecting its stars?

For comparison, Ryan Lindgren was -7 in his last 7 games for Seattle. Evan Bouchard was +14 in his last 7 games at Worlds, the best +- of anyone in the tourney (and for YEARS before that). Lindgren had 9 points this entire season; his last NHL point was in January. Bouchard had 95 points. Bouchard’s average point per game production is 10 times Lindgren’s for the season. The U.S. picked this guy to be their Assistant Captain. He targets best 🇨🇦D with a clear head shot, leaving his feet to do it. When will hockey start protecting its stars?
