For the clinicians that have passed the GCS, what actually helped you prepare for the exam? What resources felt most representative of the real test?
I recently took it while working full time in inpatient rehab, and one thing I kept running into was that a lot of prep resources felt either too lecture-heavy, too easy, or not very reflective of the clinical reasoning and mental fatigue of the actual exam. It felt much more like parsing through subtle decision making and distractors than simply memorizing information.
That process pushed me into developing a GCSprep website centered around case-based questions, clinical reasoning, and endurance-style exams for busy clinicians. I’m still building it out currently, but I’d genuinely appreciate hearing what worked well for others that have gone through the process?
