Event calendar?
My husband and I recently re-purchased our annual passes after living out of town for 8 years. We first visited on a Saturday and Sunday and there was a massive cheerleading competition so the park was packed with young cheerleaders.
Yesterday we visited (hoping for a little less chaos on a weekday- even though it was a Friday) and it was a middle school graduation event.
I want to be clear- I am well aware that theme parks are for people of all ages! I loved seeing the kids having fun and celebrating, but I’d be lying if I said we didn’t have a few unpleasant experiences with mass crowds of teenagers being rude or otherwise disruptive. (Phone lights on rides, standing up and having the rides paused ruining the experience, chaotic line energy) it was more than the typical day at the park with families, and I’d honestly just go another day if I had known what event was taking place.
I was just curious if there may be an event calendar I’m not aware of that I could peek at before driving 2 hrs to the parks on massive event days like these.
