Trying to plan our garden for next year and would appreciate a few unused tomato cages. Can pick up in the SE.

My sweet landlord has a chair that she used to rock her babies back in the 1970s, and the seat is gone.

Does anyone have spare material that I could use to fix, or any advice on how to repair? She's going through a lot and I would love to cheer her up.

I'm pretty handy, so I should be able to fix myself if I can find replacement material.

My elderly Gamecube needs to be taken apart to fix the start button. If anyone in the Woodstock area has the right kind of screwdriver, I would love to borrow it for a day.

Two users here host a monthly buynothing event at the Albina public library. I attended for the first time on Sunday. Here is what to expect:

Parking is an issue. There are a couple of disabled spots, a few EV charger spaces, and a row of compact car only spaces. Maybe 8-10 standard spots. There is also street parking. The parking lot was full around 12:15-1:00.

The Community Room where the event is hosted has several tables to put out the items you bring to share. There is a large counter at the back where clothes are put out for people to look through.

The organizers brought grocery bags and clothing hangers for people who needed them.

There are several volunteers that are so friendly and helpful, and they will help you bring your items inside (and load out, if needed).

When I arrived, I was mostly trying to figure out where to stage items to give without disturbing what other people already laid out. It's a popular event, though, and items go fast. I made several trips to make sure that I didn't overwhelm the tables or be in the way of people browsing.

I didn't stay for that long, but barely had to load leftovers back out. It made me so happy to see that things I loved but haven't used yet were taken by people who genuinely appreciated them.

To the person who brought the Manneken Pis knockoff lighter: I got it working and it's glorious. The blackberry pepper jam is so tasty. When it snows, I will be able to reach the ice & brush the snow off of my roof with the telescoping scraper/brush tool.

Thanks to everyone involved. It was a little hectic as someone with a disability, but the library & volunteers made it easy.

Hi! We are learning to grow food, and our babies are doing so well that we need to transplant them soon. Does anybody have spare potting soil in the SE? I also wouldn't complain about a spare clay pot or 5.

Will share the food once it grows.

I have interacted with several of you. I have gotten cool stuff and given cool stuff. Every interaction I have had (except one, which wasn't too bad) has been really affirming.

We just moved and our hose is just sitting on the ground. Does anybody in the Woodstock/FoPo area have spare hose storage that I could pick up?

I have a medium-sized box of black and red acrylic yarn that has been stored for a while but is clean and still in skeins. Please reach out by the morning so I can leave it out for you around noon.

Finishing up a move like everyone else in town. Someone was nice enough to give me a ton of moving boxes of various sizes and 2 garbage bags of clean, new packing paper.

I have used paper labels so that the next person to use them will be able to mark which room and what you have. They're from a moving company, and any boxes that are funky will be recycled (so far, so good).

Can set them out for porch pickup upon request (some available tomorrow, more after).

You moved from Seattle and helped me load them into my red car. I found a die (as in dice) that was stuck in the bottom of one. I was using my partner's account and can't find your post. Please send me a chat and I will bring your black die back to you.

I have a nice oval-shaped dining room table that I believe is oak. It has been covered with a table cloth and is in excellent condition. Unfortunately there are no chairs that go with it.

Available for pick up in Woodstock area this weekend or early next week. It's heavy and you will need 2 people to load up.

Are you learning to press loose powder? Would you like several empty but clean & intact mirrored compacts? Mostly MAC StudioFix but I believe there is a Nyx in there, too. Approximately 10 total.

Do you want to see what some indie perfumes smell like before buying, or would you like to decant your perfumes? I have a small bag of sample vials, small spray bottles, and a glass bottle or two. From Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and Demeter Fragrance Library. Again, these are empty but can be reused. You can also see if you like the scent before you buy online.

Do you have a big rug that you don't need anymore? Is it in good shape but could use a cleaning?

I am happy to pick up, clean and give it a new home if the top and bottom are intact. No moths or mold, por favor. If you have dogs, I probably can't use it but cats are okay. Not trying to be overly picky but don't want to waste your time. I have to use a spot cleaner to clean the whole thing and know my limits :)

This thing is a beast, but the cord was kinked and repair is needed. I'm moving and it has to go. Bought it new, and it is clean and complete in box.

Can you fix a cord? Do you have sore feet? Do you want to pick this up? If you have the skills, it would be worth the effort.
