Help me choose: Kaweco AL Piston Sport (Navy) or a Leonardo? Similar price, very different pens
Hello there! It's been a while since I last used my Reddit account. I had some problems, but I was able to restore it, and now it feels like a fresh new start. So let's get to the point!
I have a friend who is visiting Rome, and I thought he could buy me a pen from the "Stilo & Stile" fountain pen store. Until this morning, I was pretty sure I was going to buy the Kaweco AL Piston Sport in navy blue. But for almost the same price, I could get a Leonardo fountain pen. I know they are very different pens, but can you tell me which one you would choose and why? I need to pick one.
I already own several Kawecos: a Dia2, a Brass Sport, a Perkeo, and a black Sport. I love EF and F nibs, and every nib I have from Kaweco writes smoothly and is reliable. I use them with a Traveler's Notebook, so they are EDC pens.
On the other hand, I have never owned a Leonardo. But oh my god, what beautiful resins! I don't know if a Leonardo feels premium in the hand. Also, it would be a pen that never leaves my house because I'm not sure if the resin could withstand everyday use.
