Need advice from you fellow retards.

I worked at a start up company 2020-2025 as one of the first 6 original employees. We were given a lot of freedom to make the company what we wanted it to be. 100% veteran operated. I quit in 25’ (after all but 1 other OG had already left) The last OG is a really good friend of mine.

The company is completely different than what we started. The owner showed his true colors and we all hated what he was doing and how he was acting behind closed doors. He isn’t a vet and was using us as pawns basically. Recently he went on a podcast and was saying nothing but lies about himself and the company. The owner is a money hungry POS who doesn’t care about veterans at all. Ive recently been considering calling him out publicly but im worried my friend will suffer. (If the company suffers then he suffers is how I see it)

What should I do? The owner has lied about supporting veterans. He’s lied about firing people. He’s used us, and has thrown us away when he was done with us. Some of the lies were about my friend at the company. (The owner is painting a picture that my friend was basically homeless and that the owner offered him this job to get him back on his feet). The owner has also made public statements before that he “rehabilitates veterans” and has compared us to rehabilitating drug addicts.

Thanks in advance guys, I might not reply quickly I’m at work.
