I have my thyroid surgery today, I'm having the left lobe of my thyroid removed and the bridge between the two lobes.
I'm feeling so incredibly anxious, if anyone else here has had it done and has any kind words or advice to share I would be most grateful.

Hi guys, today I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I'm honestly feeling a mixture of feelings but haven't been able to cry about it yet, I just feel so confused and upset. Hi guys, I wonder if anyone here can help give me tips to distract my mind a little 😖 I had an ultrasound which showed a TR4 nodule on my thyroid, I had my biopsy 2 days ago and am beside myself with anxiety as each hour passes waiting for my results. I was told I would get my results in 7-10 days so I still have a little while to wait.
Does anyone have any tips on how to distract yourself in this situation? My body is telling me I have a gut feeling it's cancer, this could just be my anxiety talking but I feel so certain it's going to be bad news. I've tried opening up to friends, family and my partner but all I'm doing is adding more stress and worry onto them.
I honestly don't know what to feel or think, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
