Hello fellow solarpunks, this is a teaser from the material i filmed for this ecovillage in Portugal.

Day One in the "Water Retention Course" wich is part of their permaculture program.
Had so much fun filming/editing because the facilitator seems to be some kind of tai chi master of the landscape arts - and his teachings were contagious, at the end of the segment, the participants were talking this very special water/snake/chi language aswell.hahaa

There is a solarkitchen, where they cook with biogas and solar radiation. That is something i want to capture next.

Response to pt.1 regarding Landscape info and droneshots.

Sometimes curiosity pays off. Went to the office and asked about the lake. Wanted to know how it came to be and they told me that, soon a water retention and landscaping course will start and they need someone to film a teaser for their website, aand i gladly accepted :) .. so i also asked for some pictures to post here and i now have some from their storage.

Will need to find someone else to ask for the financial and organisational stuff since i was at the permaculture department but the people here at Tamera seem to be pretty transparent regarding their processes.

My permaculture knowlede is pretty surfacelevel atm but i think in this case - these pictures tell their own story and the transformation of the landscape towards lushness and abundance is obvious. Read about the allegations and can not really talk about it since i just do not know but these people managed to pull off something big and they obviously managed the financial stuff pretty well.

They somehow turned some cheap and arid land into a garden of eden, or better a solarpunk paradise and they did it in community. i respect that alot.

Ahoi, fellow solarpunks. i'm in Portugal rn and was hired to do some mediawork like recording a conference and such for an ecovillage but did not expect to stumble into an actual solarpunk universe.

Had a day off today and decided to take some photos, have to say, i was shocked and awed by this place multiple times. They have it all, the permaculture perspective, multiple community kitchen for 150 people in total, even cooking with direct solar energy and generating their own biogas. all runs on compost toilets. crazy. it seems to work pretty well and for almost 30 years now i think.

Lots of German expats and international residents here and they are living in all kinds of architectures, from trailerpark configurations to bungalow, hacienda and futuristic yurts with draped membranes. Everything is here - even the geodesic dome. and the residents get around in their golfcarts and ebikes bc the terrain is quite large. I think i am tripping. Its called Tamera but i had no idea when i saw their website. I wonder how many more solarpunk paradises are out there.

I'd really like to shoot a short solarpunk movie or something bc the backgrounds are just too good. Any ideas? i thought about recreating the yoghurt ad but i have to find some people for that and they do not like to be photographed at all. lets see, heard that there are some artists and art courses around maybe one of them wants to participate.

At least i can provide some solarpunk vibes for the upcoming summer solstice.
