Advice from North Cascades to Olympic?
Hi everyone! We need some help to optimize our itinerary for our last-minute road trip in two weeks. We will arrive at Seattle airport in 10 days and head to Mount Rainier before going back to Seattle on July 19.
On July 20, we're planning to drive from Seattle to North Cascades National Park and spend the day exploring there. After that, our itinerary starts to feel a bit ambitious because we planned to drive in the evening and find an accommodation next to Olympic so that we can get an early start at Olympic the following morning.
Does anyone have recommendations for a good place to stay between those two parks? How many hours of driving should we expect? We will then stay at Olympic for three full days before returning to Seattle. We are also planning to get a campsite in the park using recreation.gov in the next days.
