Do You Think We'll See Other Vampire Species Outside of the Vrakhiri?
Thanks to the epic concepts of the devs, I already think of the vrakhiri as their own vampire species rather than just a replacement word for vampire. They have so many unique traits, immunities and vulnerabilities; from their anglerfish-style fangs to how they turn victims by staking a tooth through the heart instead of a bite, heal others with blood and regenerate their own wounds, have their own unique aging process despite being immortal, to how they need no invitation to enter a house, can cross streams with no problem, are immune to garlic, etc.. yet silver and sunlight still burn, and so on.
That said, I can't help but wonder, will we see other species of vampires in the Dawnwalker saga outside of the vrakhiri (and their dawnwalker variants)? If we do, will they have different vampiric traits based on folklore? Maybe some would look like the traditional two-fang vampires, I've seen people express how they miss the classic look (even though I prefer the serrated smiles of the vrakhiri myself). And maybe if we do encounter more vampire species, they would have unique strengths and weaknesses we'd have to learn; i.e. like a weakness to water and not silver? Or does Brencis know something we don't; might there be a rival vampire civilization somewhere, and is that why he's hoarding all the silver in Vale Sangora? What say you, chat... will the vrakhiri be the sole vampiric presence in this game series, or do you think there's more lurking out there?
