Hi! I will go to SFU MSc program in Statistics, and I'm considering applying for the Co-op program. I love doing research, however I am international student and PhD is a long time and serious journey to go, I would like to learn how the industry works before committing to it. My goal is to work in industry after graduation. Unfortunately I do not have any internships before, mostly research assistantship and TA-ships during my undergrad. Thus I think this Co-op option will benefit me in finding a job after graduation. I would greatly appreciate any insights from anyone regarding this topic, especially those who are or were in this Co-op program before, feel free to drop them here!
