I'm on Pc, and since summer sale is running I've been thinking about basically repurchasing the game as complete edition to save me some money on the DLC (and get the artbook lol). Does anyone have experience with this? Would it "add" the content to my existing game or would Ubisoft Connect throw a fit and not accept it?

I have the game on pretty good setting on my pc, but animal textures and the textures on computers n stuff in game are almost always horrendously bad. I'm talking a big one colour blob level of bad sometimes. Is there a specific setting that makes them render worse/that I can tune so that they're better? I have Object Resolution on 8, which I thought sounded high enough, but I also can't really tell a difference when I turn it up higher
