My husband (Canadian) and I (American) got married in July and are now starting to fill out the I-130 to start his immigration process! We've reached the proof-of-marriage step and are stumped, so I am looking for some help!

Currently, we live completely separately. He's in Canada, and I'm in America (Virginia). If we file now, we will only have affidavits as proof of marriage, but I've seen from other posts that this is often not enough. On these same posts, most said you should show proof of combined financials.

My question is, how can we combine our financials in any way while living in separate countries?

So I am starting my 1st year in elementary at a school that only allows jeans on Fridays. My business casual closet is slim to none. So far, I have gotten a few pants on Halara, but not nearly enough, and kids come back Tuesday. Particularly shoes are a problem. I hate when my feet muffin top out of heels/loafers with open tops. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
