AP Bio as an intl student

Hey folks, the AP season is drawing to a close and I hope all your APs went well. We’re getting those 5s.

However, my worrisome self is not going to rest. She wants to ask you whether to study from Barrons or Princeton Review for AP Bio (next year).

I’m an international student and I want to study a bit on my own first and then take tutoring. I find it easier to study from a prep book rather than some tutoring institute’s notes.

Any other tips would be appreciated too!

AP Psych in Late Testing

Hey folks, I’m taking the AP Psych exam in the late testing schedule which is on the 22nd.

I’ve been reading many posts from regular test takers about a certain “ghosting” and “fomo”FRQ. I have self studied this AP from the Barrons book. There was no mention of these terms in that. It was my Bible throughout and although I have access to the Princeton Review book, I haven’t touched it at all.

Could y’all please tell me -

  1. Whether I should study from PR?
  2. Whether I should learn the names of every single psychologist by heart?
  3. Whether I should memorise the entire Erickson’s stages of development thing and other things like that?

Is it possible to access AP Classroom?

I’m an international student and I’m self studying AP Psych from the Barrons book. I need a lot of questions to practise. Is there any way someone could provide me a — what I hope is a — legal and legit way to get ahold of some AP Classroom questions?

Also, I’ve registered for late testing.

:)

help (pls)

I’m an intl kid and I decided self-study AP Psych because tutoring costs a bomb. I signed up for tests and reviews with an institute but I’m getting 40s out of a 60 point unit wise quiz on almost every one I take. I get decent on the FRQs TOUCHWOOD. Need help w the scoring. What is an estimate albeit safe percentage to land up in which will grant me a 5? I don’t know anything about your weighted/unweighted grading system so explain it to me like you would to a 5 year old.

I have the latest The Princeton Review book and the Barrons book for Psych. I’m an international student and Im self studying this. Which one should I focus more on? I’ve studied mostly from the Barrons book because I recently acquired PR. Any advice would be great here!
