how much on average do you give in extra gratuity?
i’m not trying to get into a debate on if you should remove the auto gratuities or not we will not remove them.
But for those who tip extra on Disney cruises beyond the automatic gratuities….what's your usual breakdown? My husband and I typically give our cabin attendant $10 to $20 extra per day, our main dining room server $20 per day and the assistant server another $20 per day if the service is good. The head server is where it gets awkward for us, we usually hand $20 or $40 out of a sense of obligation but have no idea what's actually standard. We also tip the porters usually $5 a bag. Looking for a general consensus on who people tip extra and how much ? are we doing too much ,too little? I know these people work really hard.
