Hi -I’m asking in reference to my upcoming trip to Africa.( mt Kilimanjaro, Serengeti and Zanzibar) I have about $250-$300 budget and want a camera for Kilimanjaro summit-Lemosho 8 day, safari and Zanzibar in the month of September.
I don’t want to just depend on my iPhone for pics and videos. I am guessing I’ll have to go with a camera for Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. I need it to be small, lightweight and water resistant at the least.
Any ideas 💡? Tia

My trip to Tanzania will cover Kili (yes not much reception), but will be in Moshi b4 I start, then Moshi a few more days, then to Arusha, then my safari up to Serengeti (again poor reception), then fly over to Zanzibar for the rest of my visit. Thank u in advance!!!

I’m climbing Kili via Lemosho 8 day in September, few days rest, then a short safari, ending with 6 days on the island of Zanzibar. Bucket list-12 yrs of saving!

What insurance did you get for the mountain and medical. (I’ve purchased ZNZ INS already.) is the insurance really this expensive? For both evac off mtn and medical, it’s like $1100. In the U.S. and ready all this policy paperwork online-head is exploding 🤯.

Would love to know what others have purchased. (I do have a lot of recently new gear.)

Will be traveling to Tanzania and Zanzibar in September. How much power bank do I need for 8 day Lemosho Kili trek and 5 day safari?
2 x 20,000 mah? Anker? Will probably be charging 14 pro iPhone, small camera (suggestions) and a Garmin watch.
