Confused: Low residue diet "black tea/coffee" but allowed milk and yoghurt

Today is my first day (of two) where I am on the low residue diet for my first colonoscopy on Wednesday.

I have a brewed coffee with about 150-200ml of milk each morning and until today, I thought that would be fine during the low residue phase. Now I'm not so sure.

I'm in Australia (so assuming some things might differ slightly) so read on a NSW health FAQ that skim or low fat milk in your coffee is ok. I'm going to run with that, and hope that a splash of hilo milk (not skim, but not full fat either) will be ok.

Anyone sure about whether this is ok or not? I can't handle brewed coffee black. Black tea I'm ok with. Would prefer to have my one cup of coffee (always in the morning) to have some milk in it! Or I'll switch to black tea for day 2.
