A calm break to make a residential home: On lot Comfortably Canalside, Gammelvik the banker will live a quiet life with their housekeeper. The house is loosely inspired by a summer mansion built in the 1700's by a merchant in Malmö; but made smaller because of the lot measures.

Restart and moderate success with the bank build! On lot Fisher's Horizon Gammelvik, there will be a Bank for depositing but mainly loaning money for sims that need to adapt to reality's harsh and limiting structure.

The lot assignment is Library so sims will sit down by computers, and tables to read. The office rooms can be used as 'work places' for sims in the business jobs as well; I already have a lovely office building for the rest.

The day that got erased from the save. The attempt was to make a bank, for those sims that I don't want to use motherlode for, instead having to work for their money one way or another, for instance by taking a loan. I wanted to use the lot assignment Small Business and had a great idea but trying it out, it didn't work; what a wasted opportunity!

I'd forgot Carmen was set to grudge on the world; here she's apprehending the burglar because there was no way to take out money from the vault, only to steal it, no matter what

.. Carmen was a real menace in close combat as well as from afar

we all admired her

Back to Business: loaning large sums from sims garners smaller sums than the ones I have in mind, although having to raise charisma would work nicely as an immersive play rule for approving loans

outside the fog pressed in and sims were falling away

I wouldn't call that a stoic face either, just fidgeting

granted, Grim Death being shady just like us, that was funny

And the moon shone pretty, reflected in the canal. Still, we reloaded an earlier save.
