For my last topic, natural forms, we used a3 sketchbooks. For our new topic, gathering, we're using a4 sketchbooks. They're meant to be more convenient and less overwhelming, as well as requiring less work to make the page appear filled. However, I've recently started focusing on annotations and I'm unsure how much I can fit on these pages. I'm considering asking my teacher for an a3 book, which hopefully (thought it's unlikely) she'll let me. However, if everyone else has an a4 book we might work on a smaller scale in general, mainly a5 and possible a4. Is it worth getting a bigger book? The inconvenience doesn't bother me atp, whatever gets me the grades.

I'm just very curious, in order to get very high marks how much meaning does there need to be behind my final composition? Or can it just be "I chose all of this cuz it looks nice". Idk I'm just worried cuz we're working on our plans now and mine looks a little bland for lack of a better word.
