Posting on behalf of family member, 9 months qualified, currently works not in nhs (community cic so agenda for change pay terms and nhs pension) perm full time in community.
just interviewed and offered another community post for an nhs trust 12 month FTC and full time. Pros: way closer to home (hour commute to 15 min commute) will be able to claim more mileage, more varied role as in patients homes (current role care home only based) less mileage going on car. (Currently doing 1k miles per month)
Cons: ftc in this job climate.
I’ve advised she takes the new role as it’s her dream job right now and I think her mental health will be way better.
What would you advise?
