I have tried to search this up online to see if anyone else has experienced a weird cryptid of this sort, without any results.

Years ago I woke up to this weird creature by my bedroom door. It had a head of a monkey and a body of a grasshopper. It did nothing but just stood there and I fell back to sleep looking at it. I was way too tired to be scared at the moment.

My question is — have you ever heard of such a cryptid or seen anything like it?
