My son is down in Brisbane for TAFE at the moment and he turns 21 on Saturday. We are coming down for the weekend and are planning a lunch / afternoon session with him and our family and I’m looking for recommendations for a good place to go. He’s looking for a steakhouse or BBQ style food and I would like it to be a casual kind of environment that is not going to move us on after sitting time is up. Preferably somewhere in the city or nearby surrounds.

We have had suggestions for The Breakfast Creek Hotel Spanish Room, or The Norman Hotel. I have also looked at Frankie’s Smokehouse as well.

What everyone’s suggestions?
