Kannon Kalton appreciation post

Been a few days since the "storm chasers incident" and for real, I would like to appreciate the guy who was mistaken for Nick Gorman and probably became the face of the situation (the subreddit picture says it all).

Because to be completely fair, also thanks to Max Velocity stream, this guy, who had literal dozens of thousands of people on the edges of their seats, brought an incredible footage of a huge tornado (possibly being the best footage of the year) to all people for free and got what?

Yes, a fair amount of recognition and views, but also an incredible amount of hate from all the SJWs, telling him all kinds of horrible stuff just for being excited to see a thing that was probably a peak of his chasing life and career. With amounts of adrenaline most of them never felt in their lives. Like he could do anything about the situation, stop or redirect the tornado or something. In my opinion, that hate was almost completely undeserved. He became a target of an angry mob along with Sarah Kassabian, just for being online and their name visible. But there were dozens of other amateur chasers doing stuff even way more dangerous (as we have all seen on the streams, those guys had no idea what they were doing and where they wanted to drive). Professionals like him can calculate risk to a huge extent, whether some couch experts believe it or not, but of course, a freak tornado accident could happen to literally anyone.

I personally appreciate his work, his bravery and dedication to bring us all an incredible raw footage of the situation. Hoping that I am not the only one feeling this way and also maybe hoping he might see this, because the hate he got for living his dream was just not fair at all.

What is their problem?

Seriously guys, I just have no idea what the other subreddit people are thinking. And I want to discuss, hear opinions, even disagreements, because my European brain cannot process this anymore.

According to them, storm chasers:

1 - Should ideally not exist (and if they do, watch from at least 5 miles away)

2 - When they see significant tornado, should act absolutely robotic, sounding even a bit excited to see something they dedicate their life to is a deadly sin and should be punished by law

3 - Speaking is prohibited, unless they are praying for everyone to be okay. Raising their voice is also prohibited

4 - Despite being adult they are not fully responsible for their own safety and life and need to be told by someone else from their living room that they were in huge danger

5 - Are all adrenaline junkies and adrenaline is only reason why they chase storms and tornadoes, definitely not the weather fascination

Yes, I know that some of them were doing unnecessary stuff that was dangerous and reckless, but oh my goodness, they are adults, many of them professionals. All of them know the risks coming from their hobby/job and that in situations like these there will be a lot of traffic. And even blaming Max Velocity/Ryan Hall was just that perfect icing on the moral police cake.
