This guy got chipped at the tip by accident. Do I need to do any first aid to avoid infection or other problems?

New to Dahlias. I picked up 5 tubers from a local dahlia show, direct from other local hobbyists, all tubers had eyes. Planted all five in their own 1 gallon buckets with garden soil and potting soil mix. Placed under LEDs on grow shelf in the house. 3 sprouted within about two weeks and look good to me. Currently leaving the buckets outside in full sun and the three continue to thrive (Fancy pants, Edinburgh, AC Devin). The other two (Diva and Maarn) are still not popping. I took Diva put of the bucket and the tuber has roots and the eye appears to have an aborted tip, seems kinda weak, black, and …dead. Thoughts? It’s been a total of about 4/5 weeks since I first got them.
